Custom Puzzles
Commemorate a special event with a custom puzzle or puzzle event.
Whatever the occasion, we can create an appropriate puzzle or event just for you.
Ideas
- Give a puzzle to someone to mark a birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc. This can be done with their knowledge or as a surprise.
- Send out a puzzle as an invitation to an event, with information about the event within the crossword (you might want to include the solution for non-solvers).
- Hand out a puzzle at an event. For example, provide a puzzle to out-of-town guests at a wedding.
- Hold a contest with the puzzle containing the answers, or information on how to enter or win a contest.
- Put a crossword in your organization's publication, newsletter, annual report, etc.
- Have a puzzle hunt (a puzzle-based scavenger hunt), at your next company picnic, team building activity, or other event.
We can create puzzles suitable for any age or age range.

Crosswords
Many of our custom puzzles are crossword puzzles. Our crosswords are just like the ones
in your daily newspaper -- with standard, symmetric 15x15 grids, are fully checked, with no two-letter words, no amazingly
obscure words, and have engaging clues.
Details
You get to pick the difficulty level ranging from easy to very hard.
Normally, puzzles are delivered in camera-ready form, but other arrangements can be arranged.
For puzzle events and puzzle hunts, we can arrange for someone to be present to run the event.
To create your puzzle, we will interview you by phone or email to determine
an appropriate theme, style, and difficulty level for your puzzle.
Turnaround time for custom puzzles is typically a few weeks. Complex puzzles or large
puzzle events can take significantly longer.
The pricing for custom puzzles ranges from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars,
depending on a number of factors, including size, difficulty, purpose, turnaround time,
and any special requirements.
Costs for physical puzzles can be significantly higher.
Buying the copyright or publishing rights to a puzzle increases the price.
