How to Solve Mixed Doubles Puzzles

Mixed Doubles puzzles are designed to test your anagramming skills. Each puzzle consists of a category, an alphabetical list of bigrams (groups of two letters), and the answer boxes. The goal is to arrange the bigrams to form two answers of equal length that both fit the specified category.

Tens

Mixed Doubles Tens are puzzles with two ten-letter answers. One of the bigrams will be given to you but the other nine placements are for you to figure out.

Elevens

Mixed Doubles Elevens are puzzles with two eleven-letter answers. None of the bigrams are placed for you, however the first letter of the first answer and the last letter of the second answer are given.

Hints

If you get stuck, don’t forget you can get hints by tapping on the icon. You have the option to reveal a letter or answer and also to clear out any errors. It’s not cheating to ask for a hint — the goal is to have fun, so if asking for a hint increases your enjoyment, feel free.
