Todd Rew

Todd Rew sold his first cryptic crossword to Penny Press Variety Puzzle magazine in 1992. Soon he began to be published regularly in GAMES Magazine, Dell Champion Crossword Puzzles, and New Yorker Magazine. He is the author of Incredible Cryptic Crosswords and a contributor to Cryptic All-Stars. He is a member of the National Puzzlers’ League, the world’s oldest continuing organization of word lovers, puzzle writers and editors, and game enthusiasts. In his spare time he enjoys playing piano and acting in community theatre. Todd currently resides in La Habra, California, where he is trying to stage his first play, “Transfigured Night”, about composer Anton Webern. He is a notorious insomniac.
