Bob is a retired corporate/tax attorney residing in the Chicago area. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Afghanistan which explains how the place became such a mess. He spends far too much time playing golf and desperately needs to sell puzzles to pay for it.
Bob almost exclusively constructs cryptic crosswords with occasional forays into puzzles of his own creation. Publications that have embarrassed themselves with his cryptics include GAMES magazines, the New York Times, Tough Cryptics, Cryptics Monthly, Dell magazines and Verbatim. His cryptics appeared for a while in newspaper syndication in three countries: the USA, Pakistan and Texas.
